Our Primitivo di Manduria D.O.P. comes from a native wine variety from Puglia. Cultivated on espalier on a clay-rich soil.
Harvested by the second week of September. Made with a 10-days thermo-controlled maceration followed by a process of alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts.
Aged In french durmast barrique for 6 months.
Suggested temperature 16-18°C
VOL. ALC: 14%
LOOK: Rich ruby red with purple shades
SCENT: Opulent parfume which recalls the scent of cherries and plums
TASTE: Richly structured, but softened by the typical Primitivo taste distinguished by long lasting sweet notes.
